The dynamic and powerful story of western Pennsylvania’s “Rivers of Steel” region will come to life; from colonial settlement to “Big Steel” to the modern era.  We’ll visit core landmarks, such as the Bost Building, Heinz Chapel, the Carrie Blast Furnace Complex and the Historic Pump House, the site of the former United States Steel Homestead Works and the plant that provided steel for the Empire State Building, Chicago Sears Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco!

On our way, we’ll make a stop in Shanksville, Pennsylvania at the Flight 93 Memorial, the site of the crash of United Flight 93, which was hijacked in the September 11 attacks.  Our time in the “Steel City” area will also include the Duquesne Incline, The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, lunch at Angelo’s Restaurant & Dinner at The Grand Concourse!
