3 FULL DAYS OF EXPLORING will begin in Wellsboro, where we’ll ride through the wondrous Pennsylvania Grand Canyon on a Guided Horse Drawn Covered Wagon, followed by a Cowboy Cookout!
After a refreshing nights’ sleep in the quaint town of St. Marys, it’s off to the quiet village of Benezette, home of the largest herd of free-roaming elk east of the Rockies! We’ll take in the views from prime observation spots while listening for bugling bulls. Our visit will begin exploring the exhibits at the 8,400 sq ft Visitor’s Center and end with a lunch stop at the Benezette Hotel.
Continuing on through the colorful Pennsylvania Autumn Foliage, we’ll make our way east to ^EXPERIENCE historic Jim Thorpe. While there we’ll spend the night at the charming Inn at Jim Thorpe & immerse ourselves in learning the story & significance of this town as it relates to not only our local Cumberland County area, but to our nation.
