Crystal began her career in the travel industry in 1998 booking corporate travel, before quickly moving into leisure travel with the trusted AAA Travel organization in the Carlisle, Pennsylvania office, as a way for Crystal to pursue her passion of travel and interest of different cultures while she cared for her family.

After establishing a successful career in preparing independent vacations, Crystal eventually saw a need to book small group travel (less than 30 travelers) and decided to take the leap of faith to branch out on her own and launched Journease Travel Specialists in 2015 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and has only looked forward as her and her agency continues to experience new growth.

One can instantly see that Crystal has that special entrepreneurial spirit that allows her to win in her field of travel advising. Determined to fulfill the needs in the industry that her competitors ignore, she has really niched herself and her agency, specializing in crafting customized experiences for travelers to join one another on the day and multi-day trips, exploring our local treasures, the beautiful places here inside the United States, as well as both European trips and luxurious river cruises.

A meticulous businessperson, she puts her full energy in selecting travel partners that are trusted and vetted in the industry, making her a trusted travel resource to clients in the Central Pennsylvania region.

This visionary businesswoman has big plans for not only her agency but her advisors, as she prides herself in mentoring them and giving them an opportunity to have a career that they can be proud of.

An avid lover of anything travel, Crystal enjoys learning about other cultures and the people in different countries. Leading groups and being around new people are most enjoyable to her. Listening to her clients’ needs and crafting the perfect trip is what she enjoys about her job and the psychic income of “watching dreams come to life” is thrilling! Crystal continues to be tickled when travelers on one of her signature group trip bond with one another and find common interests and establish new friendships.

Crystal holds a certification from The Travel Institute and has completed many programs holding designations in all areas of the travel industry from different organizations and travel partners.

Her career goals include running and growing her boutique travel agency specializing in micro-groups and mentoring the advisors of Journease Travel Specialists.  In addition to her natural entrepreneurial spirit, she has plans of extending her philanthropy efforts in the community giving back and doing good.
